KARACHI, Dec 3: The Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal in its campaign against President Pervez Musharraf's military uniform staged protest demonstrations outside various mosques after Friday prayers.
Holding banners and placards, protestors chanted slogans against the 'uniform' and demanded Pervez Musharraf to leave the post of the Chief of the Army Staff before December 31.
MMA MNA Abdul Sattar Afghani, addressing the protestors, said the MMA had given a chance to the rulers for restoration of actual democracy and Gen Musharraf should fulfil his promise. - PPI
