ISLAMABAD, Dec 3: The disbursement of agriculture credit for Rabi season is at its peak at the Zarai Taraqiati Bank (ZTBL). According to a press release, the bank has earmarked Rs14,180 million for this purpose.

Sufficient funds are available with the bank and disbursement is going on under "one-window operation" at the reduced mark up of 9 per cent, the press release said.

"In order to fulfil the credit needs of small farmers for Rabi season, the bank is disbursing production loans under one-window operation with the representatives of post office, revenue officials and mobile credit officer of the ZTBL will be present at focal points at Tehsil level on every Monday and Tuesday to complete formalities at one place and sanction loans on-the-spot.
