KHAIRPUR, May 25: Two men killed their stepsister in Ghanji village near Ahmedpur, Kingri taluka, on Friday night.

Makhan, wife of Abdul Rasheed, went to her father and asked for a plot on which her stepbrothers got enraged and allegedly tortured her.

She was admitted to the Pir Jo Goth Civil Hospital where she died.

Police handed over the body to relatives after the post-mortem.

Police have registered a case against the accused, Naseem Ghanjo and Tasleem Ghanjo.

TRAIN: The traders of Khairpur have complained that there is no facility of water and light in passenger bogies of the Sukkur Express.

A group of the traders told newsmen here on Saturday that the engine of train went out of order frequently, due to which passengers had to wait for hours.

They said that two days ago, the Sukkur Express was stopped in the jungle between Lakha Road and Bhirya Road railway stations for six hours due to failure of engine.

SIT-IN: Relatives of Syed Zawar Shah and Panah Ali Shah, who were killed in Tunia Baqa Shah village, staged a sit-in in Khan Wahan on Friday. They demanded arrest of accused.
