KARACHI: Ibad calls for right approach

Published November 27, 2004

KARACHI, Nov 26: The war against terrorism has gone too far and each of us - politicians, professionals and common man - has to take rational decisions which, at times, may not look popular.

This was stated by Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad while inaugurating the 17th National Conference of Pakistan Society of Neurosurgeon here on Friday. He said that in the rapidly changing world, more so after the 9/11 event, there have been dramatic changes all over the world with far-reaching consequences.

The situation, he added, called for taking correct decisions in the supreme national interest. He said the importance of neuro-science emerges all the more relevant to the prevailing situation. -APP
