Grant of bail to Zardari celebrated

HYDERABAD, Nov 22: As soon as the news of acceptance of bail plea of Asif Ali Zardari in the BMW case by the Supreme Court was telecast on television, activists of the People's Party Parliamentarians came out on roads throughout Sindh and celebrated the event on the beat of drums.

Processions were taken out in different parts of the city. A large number of party activists paraded on the main roads of the city and distributed sweets.

NAWABSHAH: Hundreds of workers and supporters of the PPP came out on roads, resorted to aerial firing and distributed sweets throughout the district. Nawabshah, the native city of Mr Zardari, wore a festive look on the occasion.

Hundreds of PPP workers and supporters took out a procession in the city to celebrate the expected release of Mr Zardari. Led by Imdad Dhamrah and others, the procession emerged from the PPP office in Gharibabad and after passing through different roads reached the Zardari House.

Speaking on the occasion, Nawabshah District Nazim Faryal Talpur, the sister of Mr Zardari, said that the decision of the court was based on justice. Sources in the Zardari House said that Mr Zardari would arrive in Nawabshah on Tuesday.

The PPP leaders and workers also took out processions and distributed sweets in Nausharo Feroze, Dadu, Khairpur, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, Larkana and other cities and towns of Sindh.
