Asif Zardari's release celebrated

KARACHI, Nov 22: PPP leaders and activists took out a rally here on Monday to celebrate granting of bail to Asif Ali Zardari by Supreme Court in the BMW reference pertaining to tax/duty evasion.

A statement issued by the party's Karachi division said that jubilant PPP supporters marched from the People's Secretariat to Mazar of Abdullah Shah Ghazi. They were led by the party's city chief Rashid Rabbani, it added.

The participants of the rally chanted slogans in support of Asif Ali Zardari and Ms Benazir Bhutto. They also distributed sweets among people during the march. --APP
