KARACHI, Nov 19: A three-day festival will be held at the Chemistry department, Karachi University, in Feb 2005 to mark the department's 'Golden Jubilee'. Those who have graduated from the department in the past 50 years will be invited to the event. The department has also invited suggestions from its former students in Pakistan or abroad to make the celebrations memorable.

Women Studies: The Women Studies Centre, University of Karachi on Friday announced that admissions to MA in Women Studies would commence from November 22 till Dec 15. Students having aggregate marks of 45 per cent in their graduation are eligible for admissions to the programme.

Merit lists will be displayed at the department on December 17. Interviews will be held on December 19, and the list of successful candidates will be placed on December 20. Selected students can then submit their fees till December 31, while classes would start from January 1.

Meanwhile, the Karachi University Business School on Friday announced that entrance test for BBA (Honours) will be held on November 21 at 10am and for MBA at 2:30pm at the Arts Faculty, KU. The list of successful candidates and interview schedule will be displayed at the Silver Jubilee Gate, KU on December 4 at 3pm. - PPI
