QUETTA, Nov 17: The Pakistan Muslim League is losing political ground in Balochistan because of the dominant role of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) in the provincial coalition government.

This was stated by the provincial general secretary of the PML, Shiekh Jaffar Khan Mandokhel, while talking to newsmen here on Wednesday. "Things are getting serious for the PML in Balochistan," he said.

Mr Mandokhel said that if the situation remained the same he would have to take a decision about his portfolio. The PML leader said that he wanted to reorganize the party but it was not possible without the help of the government at the federal and provincial levels.

He said the MMA was having a dominating role in the provincial government. Mr Mandokhel said that MMA ministers were enjoying all powers in the Balochistan government and were strengthening their constituencies and the party.
