QUETTA, Nov 13: The opposition leader in the provincial assembly, Kachkol Ali Baloch, on Friday alleged that some ministers were transferring vacant government posts to their districts and appealed to the Balochistan High Court chief justice to take suo motu notice of the issue.

In a statement issued here, the opposition leader accused the provincial government of following discriminatory policies in the allocation of development funds and recruitments.

Mr Baloch alleged that some ministers had transferred vacant posts of Khuzdar, Kharan, Makran, Nushki and Nasirabad to their home districts to facilitate their party members. He said the move had lead to a feeling of deprivation among the jobless youth in other districts.

He said the ministers had violated the constitution, law and the rules about quota allocated for each district in recruitment. He demanded that the high court should take notice of the act and save the rights of the affected districts. He also complained that the ministers had ignored the deserving areas in allocation of development funds.
