SNF criticizes government

Published October 16, 2004

KARACHI, Oct 15: The Chairman, Sindh National Front, Sardar Mumtaz Ali Bhutto, said on Friday they would participate in the democratic process conforming the Resolution of Pakistan.

In a statement, he said the SNF had no interest in the issue of uniform, adding that the Peoples Party was even prepared to become the "B" team of President Musharraf. He said no one had contacted him except the SNF workers on the call of staging a sit-in at Minar-i-Pakistan. He vowed to go to the people at their doorsteps.

Mr Bhutto contended that the government could not solve any problem since it had lost its writ, citing the example of sugar mill owners, cotton ginners, flour millers, and refusal by the traders of meat and other commodities, to accept the rates fixed by the government during Ramazan. - PPI
