LAHORE, Oct 14: Robbers and thieves on Thursday made off with cash, gold, valuables and vehicles in nine hits in various parts of the city.

Asad Rasool drew Rs1 million from a bank and was on way home when two gunmen held him up in Neelam Block of Allama Iqbal Town and took way the money.

Four bandits entered the house of Ishfaq in Liaqatabad and took away cash, jewellery and valuables worth Rs280,000. Jamil of Kahna told police that seven dacoits entered his house and looted Rs500,000 worth of cash and ornaments.

Three robbers forced their entry into the house of Mushtaq in Township and escaped after collecting cash and valuables. Saleem of Ghalib Market said four gangsters stormed his house and made off with cash and gold valuing Rs100,000. A car and three motorcycles were driven away from different parts of the city.
