KARACHI, Oct 14: The Resource Group (TRG), the largest IT-enabled services company in Pakistan, which is publicly traded on the Karachi Stock Exchange, announced on Thursday the acquisition of Pennsylvania-based The Phone Works Inc (Phone Works) and New Jersey-based Sharp Telephone Answering Service, LLC (Sharp), a company statement said.

It said that TRG had made those acquisitions through its existing portfolio company, Central Voice, LLC (Central Voice), which was the entity that had acquired the assets of Phone Works and Sharp in two separate transactions.

"With these acquisitions, TRG has completed a total of nine investments in the US call centre industry," the company stated and added that Phone Works and Sharp would serve their current clientele through Central Voice's contact centres in the US as well as TRG's offshore facilities in Pakistan.
