ISLAMABAD, May 25: The US embassy and its consulates at Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar will remain closed on Monday, on the occasion of Memorial Day, says a press release of the embassy.

The public service counters and counsellor section of the embassy will be remain closed. However, the consulate duty officers will be available for emergencies involving American citizens.

Interviews for visa will resume at the scheduled time on Tuesday. The visa applicant who had been issued appointment tokens for Monday should contact their respective courier services for new appointment.
