When contacted by this correspondent, City ASP Javed Jiskani said the accused, Khwaja Mohammad Wasim, who had been arrested a couple of days ago, had confessed to his involvement in more than five blast incidents in Rawalpindi.

He said the man had conceded that the next targets of his group were Khairpur and Sehwan and they had planned to explode a bomb at a congregation of women during the Urs of Qalandar Lal Shahbaz. The accused disclosed that his accomplice, Aamir, had already gone to Sehwan to inspect the site for the planned blast and he was to report to him.
