ISLAMABAD, Oct 1: Some of the country's leading artists and art teachers are expected to get together at the Rohtas Gallery on Saturday, along with their works, to attend the preview of 'Tulip in Sand Dunes', a book of poems by Naeem Pasha.

It would be interesting for art lovers of the twin cities to have the likes of Salima Hashmi, Afshar Malik, Anwar Saeed, Rahat Saeed, Nazia Khan, Nadeem Waheed, Nazish Ataullah and Shehnaz Ismael together under one roof.

The event would provide an opportunity to many who may wish to interact with these people as well as have a glance at some of their latest works which they have brought to display this time.

Ms Hashmi arrived in the federal capital on Friday afternoon to prepare the show and was busy at the Rohtas Gallery, helping line up things and hang the paintings. Other artists are expected to arrive on Saturday.

Mr Pasha, whose own solo exhibition opened at Mubeena Zubairi's 'The Art Gallery' on Sunday, made 'Rohtas' available for this show titled 'Another Dawn' in which guests will not only have the pleasure of looking at works of all these artists but also enjoy a nice evening of poetry recital by Naeem Pasha.

Mr Pasha promises the book would be a reading pleasure and at the same time a visual delight as works of these artists have been incorporated in the book.
