ISLAMABAD, Sept 24: Pakistan will continue to provide moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmir cause and help the Kashmiri people achieve the right to self-determination, says Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.

The prime minister was talking to Prime Minister of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan, who had called on him at the Prime Minister's House.

Mr Aziz said that Pakistan had started the process of composite dialogue with India to resolve all outstanding issues, including a peaceful settlement of the Kashmir issue.

The government, he said, was deeply interested in the area's socio-economic development and improving the quality of life of the people of Azad Kashmir.

He directed the AJK government to take initiatives to harness the region's immense hydel energy and tourism potential, adding that such initiatives would help generate employment opportunities besides making the people more prosperous.

The Prime minister of Azad Kashmir briefed Prime Minister Aziz on administrative, political and economic matters.
