KARACHI: Two die in accident

KARACHI, Sept 10: Two men died, while another was injured, when a speeding pickup truck, laden with chicken, rammed into an electric pole at Baloch Colony.

Police said that Yousaf, 25, and a 30-year-old unknown man died on the spot, while Safdar was injured in the accident.

The police said that the three men were sitting on roof of the pickup truck (KM-9758). The driver of the truck escaped from the spot after accident, the police added.

BODY FOUND: Trussed up body of an unidentified young man was found in the jurisdiction of the Kalakot police station early on Friday morning. The police said that the victim was wearing white shalwar kameez and had suffered bullet wounds in abdomen and legs.

The body was shifted to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination by the police. Following the legal formalities, the body was sent to the Edhi morgue for identification.

STABBED TO DEATH: A fifty-five year old man was stabbed to death by his associate, reportedly over some monetary dispute in Shah Rasool Colony in Clifton late on Thursday night.

Police said that the victim, Sabir, was stabbed by his friend Sadaat, who fled from the spot following the incident. Sabir was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
