Misbah, Hasan named captains

LAHORE, Sept 9: Misbahul Haq and Hasan Raza have been named as captains of the Patron's XI and the Chairman's XI, for the two tour matches against Zimbabwe this month. Hasan will lead the Chairman's XI in the two-day match at the Sheikhupura Stadium on Sept 20 and 21.

Misbah, who led Pakistan 'A' in the three-nation tournament in Kenya last month, now will skipper the Patron's XI in the four-day encounter at the Qaddafi Stadium from Sept 23.

Zimbabwe are also scheduled to play in a triangular tournament involving Pakistan and Sri Lanka from Sept 30 to Oct 16. Misbah will be leading the team with no less than seven new players who were not with the Kenyan-bound team.
