60 teachers to be trained in US

ISLAMABAD, Sept 1: A group of 60 teacher educators attended an orientation session in preparation for their training in the US, here on Wednesday. Director USAID Director in Pakistan Lisa Chiles was the chief guest.

The teachers would be imparted training in three disciplines like Mathematics, English and Science. Speaking on the occasion the official said the USAID programme was launched seeing the need in the teacher educator training field.

The Academy for Educational Development (AED) is implementing a 3-year USAID-funded Pakistan Teacher Education and Professional Development Program (PTEPDP). -APP
