US firm to invest in Pakistan

KARACHI, Aug 2: A US firm has shown its willingness to invest heavily in Pakistan and also to come up with the transfer of technology. This was stated by Brett S. Haan, Director of Bearing Point USA , while talking to APP here on Monday after meeting Sindh Minister for Information Technology Syed Mustafa Kamal.

Mr Haan pointed out that one of the company's largest investments in this new quarter would be in Pakistan. He said that his company was one of the five largest consulting firms internationally with over a $3 billion in revenue annually.

He stated that his firm would come up with the best solutions that were most applicable to Pakistan in various fields. He also described Karachi as the locomotive of Pakistan's economy. -APP
