FRANKFURT, July 29: A passenger jet belonging to Bangladesh Biman was searched at Frankfurt airport after a bomb threat was received just as the plane was taxiing to take off, German police said on Thursday.

The plane was bound for Dhaka when the anonymous threat was received, a spokesman for the German Federal Border Guard at Frankfurt airport said. "All the passengers were onboard and the plane was rolling.

It was called back and everybody was taken off," the spokesman said. Passengers were checked and the plane searched and it was unlikely to take off on Thursday, the spokesman said. Earlier, a Frankfurt airport spokesman had said no one was on the plane when the threat was received. -Reuters
