German FM arrives

ISLAMABAD, July 21: German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer arrived here on Wednesday on a three-day official visit to Pakistan to discuss bilateral and regional issues.

He was received at Islamabad International Airport by the German ambassador to Pakistan.

German foreign minister during his tour will hold formal talks with Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri.

He is expected to call on President Gen Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. Mr Fischer is accompanied by German Parliamentarians and businessmen representing leading business houses of Germany. - APP
