LAHORE, July 16: Two goals in the second half enabled Allied Bank Limited (ABL) to beat a spirited Young Eleven, Dera Ismail Khan 2-0 in the National "A" league match at Punjab Stadium on Friday.

After a barren first half the bankers played more aggressively and their efforts finally bore fruit in the 70th minute when Ijaz scored a field goal. He received the ball at the left corner, dodged a defender and went past the goalkeeper to find the cage.
