RAWALPINDI, July 16: A court here on Friday issued arrest warrants for 10 Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz activists, including adviser to the prime minister on women development Nilofar Bakhtiar and party's MNA Khwaja Saad Rafique, in the sessions court rumpus case.

The civil judge, Amjad Iqbal Ranjha, issued the arrest warrants as the PML-N activists were not appearing in the court during the trial of the case despite receiving show cause notices in this regard.

Those issued arrest warrants included Zebun Nisa, Sardar Naseem, Sharifuddin, Aqeel Shaukat, Abdullah Khan, Mirza Mansoor Baig, Azhar Shaikh and Hafiz Farooq Khattak.

According to the prosecution, the PML-N activists had created pandemonium during the appearance of the their leader Shahbaz Sharif before a sessions court.
