PESHAWAR, May 22: The information secretary of the Awami National Party, Haji Mohammad Adeel, has said that the ANP has always played a vital role in formulating national policies.

In a press statement on Tuesday, he cited the 1991 National Finance Commission Award and the water accord as examples of his party’s dedication to the province and the country.

Haji Adeel, claimed that it was mainly because of the ANP’s efforts that the provinces were allocated 80 per cent of the federal income under the last National Finance Commission Award.
