KARACHI, July 9: The University of Karachi on Friday announced the schedule for the city shuttle service to ply from July 12. Routes and timings have been specified for shuttles.

Accordingly, shuttles plying before 8am include; from Jinnah Square to university campus via Kala Board, Sharea faisal, Rashid Minhas Road, Nipa to campus; from Chowrangi No 5 via Dawood Chowrangi, Quaidabad, Sharea Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road, Nipa to campus; at 7.45am from Nazimabad Secondary Board Chowrangi, Sakhi Hasan, Nagan Chowrangi, Sohrab Goth, Nipa to campus; from Malir City to campus via Sharea Faisal; at 7.45am from Keamari to Frere Road, Burns Road, Bader Road, Numaish, Guru Mandir, Jail Road, New Town police Station, Sabzi Mandi, Hasan Square, Nipa to campus; at 7.45am from Bismillah Hotel to campus via Petrol Pump, Liaquatabad No 10, Gharibabad, Hasan Square, Nipa to campus; at 7.45am from Natha Khan Goth, Drig Road Station, Rashid Minhas Road, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Safari Park to campus; at 7.45am from Ajmair Nagri PS to Power House, Saleem Centre, Bara Dari, Disco Mor, UP Mor, Nagan Chowrangi, Gulshan Chowrangi, Maskan Chowrangi, Sui Gas to campus; at 7.45am from Model Colony post office to Colony Gate, Rashid Minhas Road, Jauhar Chowrangi, Gulshan Mor to campus;

Routes for shuttles plying at 8am include; from Nazimabad, Secondary Board Chowrangi, KDA Chowrangi, Ziauddin Hospital, Karimabad, Water Pump, Dental College, Fazal Mills, Nipa to campus; from Honour College, Nusrat Bhutto Colony, Sakhi Hasan, Peoples Chowrangi, Gulberg Chowrangi, Water Pump, Dental College, Fazal Mills to campus; from Saddar, Guru Mandir via Jamshed road, New Town PS, Hasan Square to campus; at 8am from Gora Qabristan to Sharea Quaideen, Tariq Road, Bahadurabad Chowrangi, Dauraji Chowrangi, National Stadium, Hasan Square to campus; from Jinnah Square to campus via Kala Board, Sharea Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road to campus; from Malir Halt to campus via Sharea Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road to campus; from Golimar Chowrangi to Dakkhana, Liaquatabad, Teen Hatti, New Town PS to campus; from Banaras Chowk, Khalifat Chowk, Petrol Pump, Hasan Square, Nipa to campus; from Orangi Town No 10 via Orangi Town No 5, Banaras Chowk, Habib Bank Petrol Pump, Liaquatabad No 10, Hasan Square to campus; from Hussainabad via Aliabad, Mucca Chowk, Ayub Manzil, Dental College, Fazal Mills, Gulshan Chowrangi, Maskan Chowrangi, Sui Gas to campus; from 5-C stop via Gulberg Chowrangi, Al-Noor, Samanabad, Ancholi, Sohrab Goth, Nipa to campus.

While, shuttles plying after this include: at 8.10am from Malir City to campus via Sharea Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road to campus; at 8.10am Dawood Chowrangi to campus via Quaidabad, Sharea Faisal, Drig Station, Rashid Minhas Road, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Safari Park to campus; at 8.15am from Nazimabad, Secondary Board Chowrangi, Sakhi Hasan, Nagan Chowrangi, Sohrab Goth, Nipa to campus; at 12pm Gora Qabristan, Malir City, Seven Day, Sakhi Hasan Chowrangi, UP Mor, Samdani Hospital; at 1.30pm from Board Office, Ship Honour College, Khalifat Chowk, Bara Dari New Karachi, Gulshan 13-D-1, Malir City, Hasan Square,Orangi Town No 10; at 4pm from Board Office, Malir City, Jinnah Square, Dawood Chowrangi, Korangi No 5, New Karachi, Orangi Town No 10.

Shuttle service would also be plied from 8am to 10am after every 10 minutes from Nipa to Hockey Ground, KU. The fare of the shuttle service on various routes has been fixed at Rs3, and Rs1 from Nipa to the varsity campus. -PPI
