KARACHI: Electricity fluctuation

Published October 28, 2001

KARACHI, Oct 27: Residents of North Nazimabad Block A and Gulshan-i-Iqbal Block-2 have complained of frequent electricity breakdowns and voltage fluctuations.

They say that load-shedding in these areas are unscheduled and that breakdowns may occur any moment creating problems, especially for students and patients. It also leads to water shortage.

The voltage fluctuation has been termed the most common problem. This also damages household items such as refrigerators, airconditioners and computers.

The residents of these areas have urged the Nazims of the Town and officials of the KESC to take measures to solve the problem.—APP
