KARACHI, June 21: India cueists put up another dazzling show to rout Pakistan 6-1 to make a clean sweep in the three Test match Peace Cup snooker series at Chandigarh (India), according to information made available here on Monday.

India which won the first Test 4-3 and second 5-2 again proved their superiority over Pakistan to show their complete ascendancy with another comfortable victory. It was sweet revenge for India which lost the inaugural Peace Cup against Pakistan 38-33 held at Karachi Club last December.

Pakistan pocketed Rs 140,000 for finishing runners-up in Rs 4,000,000 championship. Veteran former world champion Muhammad Yousuf gave country some pride when he defeated Rafath Habib 2-0 including a break of 88 in the second frame.

Indian having star cueists including reigning world champion Pankaj Advani and Asian champion Alok Kumar and Asian championship runner-up Yasin Merchant in their fold displayed superb potting and safety play.

After poor performance on the first two days Pankaj Advani showed his class with a lovely break of 92 in the first frame while beating Imran Shahzad in straight frames.

In the meantime, Pakistan snooker squad returned here Monday from Chandigar via New Delhi after playing the series. Pakistan delegate-cum-manager Shahnawaz Khan said he was disappointed with the performance of the team.
