MIRPURKHAS, June 18: The dilapidated water tank of Samaro town collapsed with a bang on Thursday as a result the water supply to residents was suspended. The tank had a storage capacity of 20,000 gallons of water.

District Nazim Shafqat Hussain Shah and the DCO visited the site and handed over a cheque of Rs200,000 to the taluka nazim for the construction of new water tank. Mr Shah directed the officials to continue water supply to the residents by taking special measures.
