KARACHI, May 13: The Board of Intermediate Education has dispatched the admit cards to the candidates of HSC Humanities (Private) annual examination, at their respective addresses, a board official said on Thursday.

The private candidates, who did not receive admit cards latest by May 15, should contact the BIE office on May 17 for issuance of duplicate cards, the official added. The HSC or Intermediate Annual examination-2004 would commence on May 29. About 50,000 regular and private candidates have been registered for the examination.

The BIE has planned to set up 68 examination centres, including 51 for the female candidates, at the government and privately-run educational institutions. All papers would be held in the afternoon session.

The examination of special candidates and of those appearing in Physical Education exam would also commence on May 29, the official said. According to the breakdown of the registered candidates, the number of regular candidates, appearing in part-I, is 14,508 and of those in part-II is 14,688, while private candidates in part-I are 9,412 and those in part-II are 11,319.
