QUETTA April 23: The Balochistan Home Minister, Mir Shoaib Nausherwani has said that law-enforcement agencies have eliminated the gang of Jalil Jaffar, which had kidnapped 15 passengers from Loralai.
Speaking at a press conference here on Friday at the Frontier Corps Headquarters he said the government would not compromise on security of the people. He said Jalil Jaffar and his gang was involved in heinous crimes and had recently kidnapped 15 passengers while they were on their way to Loralai in a bus.
He said that the gang wanted to get their accomplices freed, but the government refused to accept their demands and decided to launch an operation against the gang.
He said the police would be re-organized along modern lines in the light of the Judicial Tribunal's report, formed to enquire into the July 8 terrorist attack on an Imambargah in Quetta. He congratulated the FC and Levies teams for carrying out a successful operation against the gang notorious terrorist and robber, Jalil Jaffer and his gang.
