ISLAMABAD April 16: India's 2-1 series win in Pakistan has boosted it to fourth in the ICC Test Championship table, the highest it has ever been in the official table.

India's rating has risen from 100 to 102 as a result of beating its close rival. The result puts India ahead of Pakistan for the first time since August 2003 with the home side's rating falling from 102 to 99. Pakistan slip from third to sixth with England climbing to third after their historic Test series win in the West Indies.

Prior to the historic Test series, India also overtook Pakistan in the ICC ODI ratings by virtue of a 3-2 win in the ODI series.
