US warns of new terrorism threat

WASHINGTON, April 7: The United States on Wednesday warned US citizens in Pakistan of the "real possibility" of fresh terrorist attacks in Karachi and advised Americans in south and south western Sindh and Balochistan to take security precautions.

The US consulate in Karachi said a series of recent attacks and attempted attacks in and around Karachi indicated that extremists might be plotting additional strikes, particularly against so-called "soft targets."-AFP
