KARACHI: Watchman shot dead

KARACHI, May 19: A watchman was shot dead in Gulistan-i-Jauhar on Sunday.

The police said that unidentified assailants shot Mufti Yar Gul, aged 28, to death in Pakistan Railway Housing Society’s Block 10-A in Gulistan-i-Jauhar.

The SHO Khokhrapar, who resides in Pakistan Railway Housing Society’s Block 10-A, informed the police about the body lying in a narrow street.

The police sent the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem.

The police said that Yar Gul worked as a watchman in Pakistan Railway Housing Society. He suffered multiple bullet injuries.

The dead man hailed from Dir, NWFP.

The police suspected personal enmity to be a possible motive for the killing.
