Published April 5, 2004

LAHORE, April 4: Pakistan will be without wicket-keeper Moin Khan when they attempt to fight back against India in the second Test. The 32-year-old former captain, a veteran of 68 Tests and 205 One-day Internationals , is suffering from a groin injury and has been replaced by local boy Kamran Akmal.

"Moin is out of the match due to injury," Pakistan captain Inzamamul Haq said on Sunday. "We're hoping he'll be fit in time for the third Test in Rawalpindi." Kamran, 22, has played four Tests for Pakistan, two in Zimbabwe and two in South Africa. -Reuters
