ISLAMABAD, March 25: President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Jamali have felicitated President of Bangladesh Professor Iajuddin Ahmed on the occasion of their National Day falling on March 26.

In two separate messages of greetings, both leaders said they were happy to note that the brotherly relations existing between Pakistan and Bangladesh were marked by a rich reserve of mutual goodwill and understanding.

"The active cooperation between our two countries is truly reflective of the common aspirations of our peoples," they added. They expressed the confidence that the bonds of brotherhood between the two countries would gather greater substance in the months and years ahead. -APP
