BAGHDAD, March 16: Two Western engineers and three Iraqi policemen were shot dead south of Baghdad on Tuesday, in the latest in a series of killings of foreign civilians in Iraq.
The Dutch government said one of the victims was from the Netherlands, the first Dutch citizen killed in Iraq since the start of the invasion last year. The other foreigner who died was a German. The incident brought to eight the number of foreign civilians killed in eight days. -Reuters
