PESHAWAR, March 16: Capital City Police has chalked out a plan to ensure smooth flow of traffic during the One Day International match between Pakistan and India, a police official said on Tuesday.

He said that traffic would be suspended on Ashrafia Road, from Hashnagri Chowk to Faqirabad Police Station. Similarly, vehicles would not be allowed to ply on Dalazak Road, from Bacha Khan Chowk to Railways station. From Shahi Bagh Charsadda Road to Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium, there would be no traffic, said official.

Those coming to watch the match should be in possession of valid tickets. For those having tickets for VIP enclosures, the route would be Charsadda Road, Bacha Khan Chowk, Dalazak Road and College Road. Whereas the parking lot for the VIP ticket-holders is Gymkhana Cricket Road.

He said that for the people having tickets for first class and lady enclosures, should reach the stadium via Charsadda Road, Municipal Road, while they could park their vehicles in Mandi Ground.

The spectators of general enclosures, he said should come through GT Road, Hashnagri Chowk, and Ashrafia Road. Parking arrangements had been made for them at General Car Parking on Dalazak Road.

The official said that the people who had not secured tickets for the match should not visit the stadium on that day, because they would not be allowed to enter the premises.

He said that the people should also affix the sticker on the front screen of their cars, which they obtained along with tickets. Furthermore, he said that bringing weapons, drinks, water bottles etc into the venue, would not be allowed.
