Hunger strike camp uprooted

MARDAN, Oct 26: Central Secretary of All Pakistan Clerks Association, Sajjad Ahmad Yousuf Zai, has condemned the uprooting of their hunger camp by the Mardan police on the directives of District Coordination Officer.

Speaking at a protest meeting of clerks, he criticized the district administration and the government for “failing to address our problems.” On the contrary, he said, they were using such tactics “as to goad us into violent agitation.”

He described the DCO as “an enemy of the clerks community” and urged district Nazim Raza Khan to solve their problems.

He warned that if the demands were not met they would be forced to lock their offices and hold a sit-in in front of their offices.
