HYDERABAD, March 11: The executive engineer, Hala division, irrigation department, has announced a rotation programme due toshortage of water in the River Indus and the Rohri Canal.

According to the schedule, canal branches of the Shahdadpur sub-division, Hala/Saeedabad sub-division, Tando Adam I and II sub-divisions and the Masu sub-division of group-II would remain closed from March 18 to 26.

Canal branches of group-I of these sub-divisions which were closed on March 10 would be opened on March 18. These these canal branches would be again closed from March 26 to April 4.

The executive engineer, Nasir division, also announced a water rotation schedule. According to the programme, canal branches of group-I and group-II of the Nasir Branch system which were closed on March 10 would be opened on March 18 and then again closed till March 26.

Minors of group-I and II of the main Rohri Canal system, including Tajpur, Bukerani and Tando Mohammad Khan sub-divisions, would remain closed from March 18 to March 26.

ISRA: Interviews of candidates, having passed admission test to Faculty of Computer and Management Sciences, Isra University, will be held from March 15 to 17, according to a university announcement.
