One killed in firing

KARACHI, May 18: A 26-year-old man was killed and his younger brother wounded in a late night shooting incident near Dalmia Road in Aziz Bhatti police station area.

The two injured brothers, one of them seriously, were taken to Jinnah Post-graduate Medical Centre by their father, Zarnab Khan, where the elder one succumbed to his wounds.

Hospital sources said Kalim Khan was shot in the head and right hand. The head injury proved fatal.

The sources said the younger brother, Nisar Khan, was shot in the back, and is out of danger.

Initial reports suggested that the shooting was motivated by a family dispute.
