ISLAMABAD, March 3: Prime Minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali has said the government is striving for a welfare state where all social services are provided to the common man.

Talking to Malik Allah Yar Khan, an MNA from Attock who called on him on Wednesday, Mr Jamali announced that gas would be provided to one village each of Tehsil Jhand and Pindi Gheb.

The prime minister asked elected representatives to devote their energies towards making the life of the common man easier. Malik Allah Yar discussed with Mr Jamali development schemes for his constituency and the relationship between local governments and members of parliament. -APP
