QUETTA: Ulema's entry banned

QUETTA, Feb 26: The government has imposed a ban on the entry of the following ulema into Quetta during the first ten days of the month of Muharram, it was announced here on Thursday.

Their names are Allama Ali Sher and Khadim Hussain from Punjab, Maulana Amjad Ludhani (Islamabad), Maulana Jan Ali Shah, Senator Allama Abbass Kamli, Allama Tehsil Turabi from Karachi, and Allama Muhammad Ramzan from Peshawar.

DETAINED: The Kalat administration has detained Maulana Abdullah for delivering an objectionable speech that has caused hatred amongst different sects in society.
