KARACHI, Feb 17: Sadaf Saba of the PECHS Government College for Women won the first prize in the Naat competition organized by the St Joseph's Government College for Women in connection with its students' week, which commenced on Tuesday.

Shamsa Fazalur Rehman of the Government College for Women, Korangi No 4 was declared second. She was followed by Mohammad Aamir of the DHA College for Men. The Qirat contest was won by Hafiz Laiq Siddiqui of the DJ Science College, while Haris Asad of the DHA College for Men was declared second in the competition.

The third prize was shared by Rabia Gohar of the Government College for Women Shahrah-e-Liaquat and Usman Naeem of the Karachi Grammar. As many as 17 teams, comprising two members each, from various educational institutions participated in the Naat and Qirat contests. -APP
