Faisalabad tie drawn

LAHORE, Feb 12: As expected, the rain-hit Quaid-i-Azam Trophy tie between Faisalabad and Sialkot ended in a tame draw at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on Thursday. Sialkot, who resumed at 291 for seven, were all out for 360 in reply to Faisalabad's first innings total of 381.

Off-spinner Saeed Ajmal finished with four for 102. Faisalabad utilised the remaining time to reach 242 for seven in their second innings with Test rejects Mohammad Hafeez (58 with 10 fours) and skipper Misbah-ul-Haq (52 with nine fours) making up for first innings failures.

Test off-spinner Shoaib Malik, the Sialkot skipper, bagged four for 76 to finish with a match haul of seven for 145.
