ISLAMABAD, Feb 8: A young man was killed when his car fell into a drain after hitting the protective railing on a bridge on School Road in sector F-6/2 in the early hours of Sunday.

Kohsar police sources said Faizan Rasheed, 24, a resident of sector F-10/4, was returning home from Super Market direction at around 1:30am when he lost control of his vehicle.

The vehicle hit the iron railing on the small bridge and landed in the drain some 20ft down. The car was badly damaged while Faizan, the son of a local businessman, died before he could be pulled out and provided any medical care.
