SANGHAR, Jan 30: Three doctors arrested on charges of using multi-dose vials meant for animals on humans were released on bail on Friday.

Dr Jaleel Memon, Dr Allah Jurio Wassan, Dr Lajpat Rai and paramedic Anis were arrested on Thursday by a team comprising DPO Dr Ameer Shaikh, EDO health Dr Iqbal Shah, district Naib Nazim Dr Mehmood Rajput and Dr Ali Hassan Nizamani.

The Pakistan Medical Association, it may be mentioned, had alleged that some doctors were using animal grade antibiotics on humans.

The doctors were booked under section 269 PPC on the complaint of district PMA president Dr Ali Hassan Nizamani.
