ISLAMABAD, May 17: A four-member delegation of All China Women’s Federation along with members of Ministry of Women Development visited APWA High School on Friday.

The APWA chairperson, Begum Najma Mahmoodullah, and all other executive members welcomed the delegation.

The delegation comprises Wu Quanzhi, Cui Keping, Zhang Guangyang and Zhao Xin.

Begum Najma Mahmoodullah briefed the delegation on the APWA School. She said the school was providing free education to the needy and poor children for the last two decades.

The head of the delegation Ms Quanzhi appreciated the role of the APWA. The delegation also praised the spectacular variety show presented by the students of the school. Meanwhile, a nine-member Chinese delegation visited the Threadline Galleries of Pakistani handicrafts.

The delegation, led by the minister and Shenhua Group president, Chen Bi Ting, lauded the quality of the handicraft at the gallery.

The gallery is patronized by the ministry of industries and production. The delegation appreciated the handicrafts and noted a lot of similarities in colour scheme and designs with Chinese handicraft, a result of historical and cultural relationship between the two countries.
