ISLAMABAD, Jan 28: The Supreme Court on Wednesday accepted a petition of Sindh MPA Ahmed Bhabra for regular hearing and suspended the Sindh High Court decision regarding his disqualification on the dispute of his B.A. degree.

A Supreme Court bench, comprising Chief Justice Nazim Hussain Siddiqui, Justice Javed Iqbal and Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, admitted the plea of Bashir Ahmed.

His opponent Rajper Shaukat had challenged the degree of Mr Bashir in the Election Tribunal, but the plea was rejected. Later, the Sindh High Court accepted the petition of Rajper Shaukat and suspended the membership of Bashir Ahmed. When Mr Bashir filed the petition against this decision, the Supreme Court accepted it for regular hearing.-APP
