SCA invites 60 for trials

KARACHI, Jan 23: Sindh Cricket Association (SCA) has invited 60 cricketers from 12 districts of interior of Sindh to appear in the trials for formation of Hyderabad Regional team for Quaid-i-Azam Trophy starting from Feb 8.

The two-day trials will be held at PCB Regional Academy ground from Jan 30 at 9.00 a.m. Member of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) selection committee Iqbal Qasim will be heading the SCA selection committee. The PCB will announce the other members of the selection committee.

The district cricket associations have been asked to recommend names of other talented players if their names are not included in the list of 60 players announced by the SCA. Their names can be faxed by Jan 28 on 021-4821219. Following have been invited for trials on the basis of performances in the PCB Inter District competition.

Hyderabad: Iqbal Shaikh, Ayaz Shaikh, Irshad Ali, Imran Naseer, Ali Ahmed, Anwar Ali.

Badin: Sohail Abbasi, Aamer Raza, Yasir Raza, Ahmed Khan, Taswer Zaman, Asif Iqbal.

Dadu: Mohammad Saleem, Akhtar Bangash, Shahid Qambrani, Zulfiqar Ali, Umar Qambrani, Kashif Ali.

Thatta: Mansoor Ahmed, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Naeem, Sarfraz Ali. Jacobabad: Mohammad Ali , Abdul Ghani, Tariq Ghani, Zafar Ali.

Khairpur: Mohammad Uris, Talib Hussain.

Larkana: Abdul Raheem, Ali Nawaz, Zafar Ali, Hanif ur Rehman, Abdul Sattar.

Mirpurkhas: Sharif ud din, Taj Mohammad, Ahmed Nawaz, Ghulam Murtaza, Imran Khan, Aga Thair, Syed Rehan.

Nawabshah: Abid Ali, Farooq Ahmed, Abdul Rauf, Mohammad Kashif.

Sanghar: Noor Nawaz, Asif Baig, Nawab ud Din, Athar Mahmood.

Shikarpur: Nasrullah Memon, Khadim Hussain, Mohammad Akbar, Ayaz Ahmed, Mohammad Yaqob, Zayd Mir, Ghulam Yasin.
